Designing for Nagpur
The climate sets the details.
We do not use a city wind figure off a list. The design wind pressure for your structure is worked out for the exact site under IS 875 (Part 3), from its terrain, height and exposure.
Among the hottest cities in India from April to June, regularly above 45 °C.
Monsoon rain from June to September, moderate in intensity.
Dry and dusty either side of the rains.

- Black cotton soil across most of the city, expansive and demanding. Footings go below the active zone or the soil is replaced.
