Footings are designed to IS 456 from the soil investigation for your plot, and on a tensile structure they are sized for the roof trying to lift rather than for its weight, because uplift is the governing case on a light surface.

Membranes carry a five to fifteen year warranty depending on grade, with structure and workmanship covered for one year.
