Does Ferrari Fabric build tensile structures in Mangaluru?

Yes. We take on work in Mangaluru, though the projects shown on this site are in other cities. Every structure is fabricated in our Delhi NCR workshop and installed by our own crew. In Mangaluru, the design is driven by drainage first, at a volume few Indian cities match, then corrosion detailing for constant salt and humidity. Most installed projects cost ₹280–2,500 per sq ft plus GST.

Designing for Mangaluru

The climate sets the details.

We do not use a city wind figure off a list. The design wind pressure for your structure is worked out for the exact site under IS 875 (Part 3), from its terrain, height and exposure.

  • Well over 3,000 mm of rain a year, almost all of it June to September.

  • Humid all year, with salt air off the Arabian Sea.

  • Strong monsoon gusts arriving straight off the water.

Ground
Laterite across most of the city, firm and good to build on, with soft alluvium near the rivers and the port.
What drives the design
Drainage first, at a volume few Indian cities match, then corrosion detailing for constant salt and humidity.
Membrane
PVDF-lacquered PVC with stainless fixings throughout; PTFE-glass for permanent structures.

How we work in Mangaluru

One team, survey to handover.

Designed and fabricated at our Delhi NCR workshop, shipped, and installed by our own crew. No local subcontractors.
