IGI Airport, Terminal 2
A tensile canopy along the arrivals kerb at Terminal 2, about 8,200 sq ft, so passengers get from the terminal doors to taxis and cars out of the sun and the rain.

Vasant Square Mall
A radial membrane roof over the escalator court of a working mall in Vasant Kunj, bringing daylight into the court without adding columns. It was installed through an operating retail building.

Designing for New Delhi
The climate sets the details.
We do not use a city wind figure off a list. The design wind pressure for your structure is worked out for the exact site under IS 875 (Part 3), from its terrain, height and exposure.
April to June runs into the mid-40s °C with hot, dust-laden winds.
The monsoon, July to September, arrives in short, intense spells.
Winter smog from October to February and dense fog in December and January.

- Indo-Gangetic alluvium, generally good to build on. Isolated footings to IS 456, sized for uplift and overturning rather than weight.

- PVDF-lacquered PVC is the usual choice, because it sheds dust and smog and largely rinses clean in rain.
